  The people who work here are not very helpful at all. They give you very short answers to the questions you ask and offer no suggestions. After visiting half a dozen times I keep going back to the South Morang store because the team who work here are super helpful and each one of them is knowledgeable in the area they work in.

  The middle aged woman at the fabric counter is incredibly rude, and happens to serve me everytime I go! I was debating whether to make an official complaint and a quick Google shows that I'm not the only one to have this experience. Everyone else I've spoken to who works there are fine, it's just this rotten apple that spoils the bunch. Avoid unless you want your day to be a bummer!

  Great selection of baking goods and other awesome things I didn't expect but the staff are useless. I asked if the price for the European pillows are the same as the standard pillows and just repeatedly got told that "if there aren't any on the shelves they don't have any in stock" when I tried to explain my question. The opposite of helpful...

  Won’t be buying anything from spotlight again. When I ordered click and collect online during their sale, their website said it was available, and then 24 hours later they cancel my order saying they don’t have stock. They won’t even allow me to take advantage of their sale price through lay-bys as they say the store is closed. Pretty poor form and absolutely 0 effort to provide customer service, particularly when they have already said to me that they have stock. What an unpleasant experience!

  I've always found helpful staff although sometimes there's a bit of a wait for fabric to be cut. The layout and management of stock is good: far better than at some of the other Spotlight stores. I agree with the other reviewer's comments about children in shops: that's not a fair criticism of any store as staff would be out of line to step in.
